Melissa Caudle

As an undergraduate at Texas State University,  I had my first opportunity to work with individuals who struggled with communication challenges.  It was during my Master's work at Texas Woman's University, that my passion for working with children grew into a career that has truly been an amazing journey.  I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of roles at Park Cities speech over the past 20 years.  In addition to my work with Park Cities Speech, I have worked in the public schools and had the amazing experience of  opening and running a centralized classroom for children with autism.   This experience, coupled with my individual work with students with autism, has provided me with a picture of the challenges these families face both at home and at school.   Although my first love is working with children, I have enjoyed serving as a mentor to other Speech-Language specialists.
